NEWS FROM THE AGM

The AGM of the Northern Counties Shetland Sheepdog Club was held on 27th February 2011 at Bowburn, Co. Durham.

After the various reports the Treasurer submitted her accounts for the year. These were accepted by the meeting. If any member not present at the meeting wishes to see the accounts please contact the Treasurer.

The Officers and Committee were all returned unopposed with no additions to the Committee. The Club Auditors were re-appointed

After a vigorous discussion it was agreed that the Subscriptions will be increased from October 1st 2011. Each grade of membership will have its subscription increased by £1. This means that from October 1st the fees will be

                JUNIOR   £2.00       SINGLE    £6.00         JOINT    £7.00          SENIOR      £3.00

Miss Clare Stafford agreed to take on the post of Web Master. It is anticipated that she will take up this position as soon as a smooth hand over can be negotiated.

After some further general discussion the meeting was closed by the Chairman.

THE FOREGOING IS A SUMMARY OF THE EVENTS AND DISCUSSION WHICH TOOK PLACE AT THE AGM.  HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ANY CONFLICT BETWEEN THIS ACCOUNT AND THE OFFICIAL  MINUTES THEN THE OFFICIAL MINUTES TAKE PRECEDENCE
